Wow. From the custom Chucks to the wonderfully gung-ho attitude that can only be captured by the attitude of this perfectly casted cos-player, this really is outstanding. If Morrison's work really has crossed generational boundaries like this, it can only be considered an unqualified and worthwhile success. Ditto the perfectly fitted costume. Lovely.
I used to hate Damian but now that he's less of a little prick and hasn't killed anybody since ''Nobody" back in Issue 7. And Batman didn't even punish him for it. I'm going to miss him before he comes back from his up coming "death" in like a few months or a one year.
I always figured Bruce didn't punish Damian because he didn't want to lose the little trust they had developed in the series thus far (plus as readers, we would have been left back at square one with with a bitter father-son relationship). Bruce wanted Damian to know he understood his motives (saving him) but did not condone his methods (similar to what he told Jason Todd in the recent issue). I really appreciated Tomasi's mature Bruce, seeing as many other authors would have written him fly off the handle (rightfully so, but still). Yay comic book discussions!
